I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Min H. Kao Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK). Prior to joining UTK, I received my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California and my B.S. in Control Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University. My research focuses on AI for Science, Network Science, and Machine Learning, with a goal of developing advanced physical, mathematical, and computational tools to study multiscale structures and dynamics and map them to functions. My work primarily involves complex network analysis, neural operators, multimodal learning, and generative modeling, while also exploring their applications in various scientific fileds including neuroscience and materials science.
